A moshav is a cooperative village in Israel. Like a kibbutz (commune) the members work together and help each other out. Unlike a kibbutz, members of a moshav own their own property and have more individual economic freedom.

We have a small community of like-minded individuals in and around Cooksville, Wisconsin. We use this in-person social network to share extra resources, ask for help when we need it, and organize so that we all can live more fulfilled lives.
We share interests in sustainability, locally adapted solutions, interdependence, and community. The goal is to facilitate in-person sharing, work, and community — not to take the place of it.
