This weekend Scott gave three presentations at the Wisconsin Garden Expo. This event, attended by thousands, brings together gardeners, educators, entertainers, and vendors for a fun weekend centered around gardening. Gardening in a Warming Wisconsin

This last year shows us how challenging it is to grow in a warmer, drier Wisconsin. In this seminar, we will discuss ways to “future-proof” our food gardens for a changing and more variable climate.

Four-Season Gardening in Wisconsin

Let’s look at some ideas for growing year round in Wisconsin. These can be as simple as insulated covers for cold-hardy greens to in-ground greenhouses with passive and active heating. We will also discuss indoor growing as well. Here is the accompanying handout as well.
