We’re busy laying the groundwork for the 2019 Sustainability Skill Share, coming up on June 1–2. The overall goal of this event is to spread skills that help us house, clothe, and feed ourselves with less reliance on fossil fuels.
We need your help. Have you attended a class that would be a good fit? We’re recruiting instructors in everything from fiber arts and traditional woodworking to alternative energy and food provisioning. Nominate an instructor by filling out the following form (you can also find this form under the drop-down menu from any page on our website). We will never share this information outside our organization.
Do you teach a skill that would work well at this event? Again, we accept a wide variety of ideas of what it means to live well without fossil fuels. Simply fill out the following form to propose a course and let us know about your availability for the event weekend (this form is also available from the drop-down menu above). If you have any questions before proposing a course, please feel free to reach out to us (lowtechinstitute@gmail.com).
