Spring is coming and we're planting out tons of starts! This is a skill that's really helpful to avoid the large cost of buying plants from nurseries at the scale we would need for a subsistence Garden.
A quick translation of a German reel teasing folks who think wind turbines are ugly as we've gotten so used to other infrastructure that we just take in stride.
Our #compost study is keeping on, even in the winter.
#Butchering #chickens is not my favorite task, but having too many #roosters in a flock stresses all the birds out. It's nice to have this done and behind us for the year.
I do try and find time to put out more information on instagram, and I hope to do more in the new year. Thanks for the well wishes and same to you in the upcoming year.
Time to clean off the solar panels after a day of snow. Never mind that it's 28 below out here. There's sun!
